They are going to let this asshole steal a seat on the court. An absolutely disgusting display, but I can’t say I’m surprised. The GQP can’t win fairly, so they cheat. QED.

But as long as we’re talking about it, that would be “North Carolina Court of Appeals panel,” not “North Carolina Appeals court panel” and either “state supreme court” or “North Carolina Supreme Court” not “State Supreme Court.”

Sorry, folks, but even amid the ruin and destruction of democracy and rule of law, the Bluebook will not be mocked.

English, it would appear, is not really the language of the US any more. I do not know how to describe the patois that is spoken or texted in this country, but for anyone who likes precision in language, it has become impossible to decipher the bilge coming out of too many mouths/keyboards.
