What is it with dipshits who cannot keep it in their pants?
It doesn’t seem to be a problem if you are Republican.
Disappointing
I am sorry but, looking at the returns at this point in time (11:36 PM Eastern) everything in this article seems 3 or 4 orders of magnitude too optimistic.
I have had enough over-optimism from the pundit class over the last year or so.
I think I’m ready for some reality.
Edit: Just want to clarify that, despite the timestamp on this article, it has been edited more recently, and the article I was responding to was significantly more upbeat in tone.
I don’t understand how voters spilt their vote like that… cooper easily won re-election but Cunningham and Biden are losing
Listening to MSNBC and Steve going through counties in PA and MI and talking about how much Obama won them by in 2008/12 and then how much Trump won them by in the same county in 2016, leads me to ask “What’s in the water up there”?
It’s unlikely that they did. Putin only cares about the federal results. Trump held rallies where voting systems had been tested and found vulnerable. They’ve been setting up this “massive Election Day GOP turn-out” fable for months. Let’s hope the more massive absentee ballot Dem push defeated it. Count the votes.
Keys? Wallet? Coins? Comb? Pen? Handkerchief? Iphone? What am I missing?
Didn’t seem to stop republicans from voting for drump.
No fucking idea, though I don’t know how any sane person could vote republican in the first place. Case in point, my inlaws here in NC are repugs and texted my wife, talking about civil war and end times and the rapture and GODS law etc.
Forget it, Jake: it’s Pennsyltucky.
How, once again, did the polls get so much so wrong? Remember how Biden had a consistent, albeit small, lead in Florida? A somewhat larger lead in Ohio? Was going to be competitive in Georgia? Oh, that Harrison was in a tie with Graham in South Carolina? That Ernst was in danger? And Collins?
None of this is boding well.
I can’t make sense of it either. I don’t know how much if anything this had to do with it, but I think the Obama campaign did a very good job portraying Romney as an anti-working-class job destroying plutocrat. (Of course, Romney fit the bill). I wish that team could run Democratic campaigns for eternity.
When will Democrats learn NO TEXTING???
I did phonebanking for Joe the last 3 weekends and calls I made to Pennsylvania made me very wary. Lots of callers said that Biden was going to kill fracking and then the Philadelphia incident pushed other callers to Trump. And it was sad to hear how many folks don’t want an (INSERT ETHNIC SLUR HERE) Vice-President…
Ah but you have to remember Jesus forgives Republicans of their transgressions. But if a Democrat does a single naughty thing they are to be condemned for the rest of their lives!
Graham holds on,Ernst holds on,Cornyn holds ,Collins seems to be holding on.Luntz was right if they get this wrong they are out of business, seems as if the plywood is on order.
Yeah, that is the point. I got tired of keeping the tally back in the day. But Bill Clinton’s impeachment committee was lead by Henry Hyde, a fucking ridiculously awarded “Knight of the Catholic Church,” whose decades long extramarital affair with a married woman ruined her family’s existence. And I guess, if you consider all those Catholic priests in small European towns who had a relationship with a woman on the side, then Henry Hyde was not really a hypocrite. And richly deserved the award and title of Knight of the Catholic Church. But I think Bob Barr, Dan Snyder and Elizabeth Chenoweth were all on the House Impeachment Committee and all had affairs. Dan Snyder with a young intern.
And over the last 20 years you have had folks like David Vitter. And Newt Gingrich, and Donald Trump and Mark Sanford be allowed to continue their political careers with the blessing of the Animal House Sexual Harassment Television Network lead by Roger Ailes, but people who sent sexy texts are disqualified from ever holding public office again if they are Democrats. It is bullshit and it is also a reflection of a puritanical religious standard imposed by the Segregationist demographic on the rest of us.
Dark clouds at the horizon
