North Korea’s top nuclear negotiator Kim Myong Gil said on Saturday that nuclear negotiations with the U.S. have broken off–but the U.S. says otherwise.
"After a meeting with U.S diplomat Stephen Biegun in Sweden, Kim told reporters that the talks had failed because the U.S. had shown up “empty-handed.”
Seems as if North Korea didn’t and showed it.

First, Trump’s entire approach was to think he could somehow convince NK to give up their nukes. And, get a Photo Op stepping into NK.
What he has done is destroyed our position with SK, Japan, China and everyone in the region. Additionally, China has taken the opportunity to assume control of the shipping lanes in the far Pacific. Nice work, you idiot.
Second, at this point, why would anyone deal with a player who is failing at everything world wide? Every country is looking at Trump, and the US, and doing work-arounds. Hell, even the Saudis and Iran are working on a peace solution without us.
Geesh. It takes 2 parties to make an agreement. If one party says “no agreement” there’s just one correct answer for the other party. A decree can’t make it true.
Trump’s Nobel Prize is hanging in the balance, if he can just make it seem like we’re still talking, maybe he can make it across the finish line before that uppity kid from Greenland…
“On the contrary! Our North Korean counterparts are sadly mistaken if they think they’re going to get off that easy! We’ll tell them when negotiations are over! …Okay, negotiations are over.”
