Nikki Haley’s About Face: I ‘Would Not Run’ If Trump Launches 2024 Prez Bid | Talking Points Memo

I’m guessing her political calculation is to run in the primary and not really hope to win, because the current GOP will never put a female POC at the top of the ticket. But it will keep her profile high enough to be chosen for the VP slot, to balance the inevitable white dude at the top of the ticket.

“Liz Cheney”

I wonder how much of HazMatt’s troubles can be traced back to a certain Dick?

if Trump runs ( unlikely - but a factor until it is not ) - the situation will be one where -
it will be about 95% like the old adage:“Don’t wrestle with a pig - you get dirty and the pig enjoys it”
and about 5% chance that it could be like pulling Excalibur from a stone and some candidate gets lucky

Somewhere deep inside maybe they silently consider the possibility – but I doubt it.

Yeah, but Nikki is no Kamala. Kamala has the courage of her convictions. Nikki’s got no convictions at all.

If Trump is in prison in 2024 then he will definitely run if only just to raise lots of money.
The Magats will still think he’s innocent and will contribute bigly.
It worked great for Lyndon LaRouche.

That’s the big question going forward. My personal hypothesis is that Trump’s extra voters are going to be far less sticky than Biden’s extra voters. We’ll start seeing how that bears out with the Republican primaries for next year’s midterm elections. If GOP numbers aren’t up by much over the 2018 midterms, that will be a pretty clear indication that the MAGAs are disengaging without Trump on the ballot.

“What is the name for a female cuck?”

“Karen”?

He’s also currently into marketing dope.

The ex-U.S. House speaker is poised to collect $1.59 million in cash once shareholders approve Canopy Growth Corp.’s acquisition of Acreage Holdings Inc., regulatory filings show. If his former colleagues in Congress help make marijuana federally legal, he’d be eligible to receive Canopy shares worth about $16 million as of Thursday’s market close in exchange for his stake in Acreage.

That tickled my “squishy think-think thing”.

Blatantly obvious Trump offered the VP slot to her if he runs. She would be the best choice. She’s an idiot for going along with it, another spineless clown. She could probably get the nomination on her own.

BUT, there is the fact that she knows Trump won’t be able to run due to impending indictments. By not running away from him, she can secure a lot of the Trump vote in that scenario.

All these sycophants want the blessing of their cult leader just in case he decides not to run in 2024 (he won’t). Two words: Matt Gaetz.

We are in the first 100 Days of the Biden Presidency and we are on course to do a great deal. We have to watch our six…but (w/r/t that) that’s about the only thing any prudent administration can do right now.

Most of our energy had better be focused on our NEXT 100 days, because every syllable uttered by people attached to the Republican Party will be in the pursuit of portrayng every Democratic and Republican activity in stark terms devoted to the pursuit of more power for them and more hopelessness, helplessness and torpor for us.

Deplorable, despicable, and disgusting does not go far enough to characterize Nikki Haley. Her moral corruption runs that deep.

My question to Haley, “has Trump ever grabbed you by the pu**y”?

I hate Nikki’s Haley’s face, both of them!

That’s what cracks me up about the media narrative that she’ll be some kind of formidable force in the 2024 primaries. How? She’s a woman of color who took down the Confederate flag in her state. They’ll cruficy her. They’ll call her by her given name, Nimrata, and before long they’ll just start calling her “nimrod.” Plus, wasn’t there some infidelity allegations when she was governor? A woman of color who took down the Confederate flag and possibly cheated on her husband? That’s like the superfecta of “hell no” in GOP politics.

On top of that, she was raised Sikh, only converted to Christianity in 1997, and has still attended a few ceremonial Sikh services. That’s anathema to the evangelical wing of the GOP. It might not keep her off the VP slot, but she’s going to have to do some serious ass-kissing of the white evangelical base to get even that far.

Nikki Haley: Now that’s it’s clear that Trump is not, in fact, politically dead, the extent of my miscalculation has become apparent to me. After recalculating, I am now very much in favor of a Trump presidential bid in 2024. Of course, I will make sure I’m ready for my own run, on the off chance that ill health or prison prevent our Dear Leader from returning from exile.
