Newly Revealed Text Messages Show GOP Officials At Ground Zero Of Election Conspiracy Outlined By Trump Indictment

In Arizona, Kelli Ward was not content just to promote the notion that Trump “should have” received more votes in a Republican-heavy district, she went on to cast aspersions on the election board in Maricopa Count/Phoenix and had the legislature hire a completely unqualified consulting company to do an “audit,” which was paid for with taxpayer money. And were there not also people in Arizona (as well as Colorado) who wanted to illegally access voting machines or software in furtherance of their attempts to change the vote totals?

Would love to see Ward, Finchem, Wendy Rogers, Gosar and Blake Masters - all the Arizona nazis - get in a heap of trouble over their un-American activities

I do recall the joking about 45 having to be dragged, kicking and screaming from the white house. There were a few that entailed counting the silverware too. We live in the Golden age of comedy.

Fantastic work, TPM!

Too many Republicans are committed to winning at any cost, whether that be in undisclosed billionaires’ donations, Russian trolling on social media to undermine voters’ confidence, political gerrymandering of state election districts, attempts to disqualify minority voters–for positive change to emerge in the party’s leadership. A new coalition of voters across multiple areas of interest and constituencies might eventually result organically in a new party. But that’s the only change I can reasonably see.

Was there no White House treasure found in the bankers’ boxes he schlepped to Mar-a-Lago?

Sleazy, sickening, creepy. Why is it so easy for humans to be led by the nose by these nutcases.
Nevermind.

So will McDaniel and Ward be charged too? They should be.

There isn’t a person with integrity, honor or a sense of duty to America in the bunch. They are all feckless yes men and women willing to do what they are told by the libertarian billionaire donors who own them.

Through a spokesperson, Meadows declined to comment on this story and questions about whether he is working with federal prosecutors.

I seem to recall a former federal prosecutor pundit saying that cooperating witnesses are forbidden from commenting on the case(s) they’re aiding prosecutors with.

That said, my money’s all in that Meadows is desperately trying to save his ass and, in addition to singing his ass off, he’s also performing intricately choreographed dance numbers on demand as well.

So who leaked the Meadows texts to Hunter Walker? If it was someone from DOJ, it doesn’t make sense that it is only Meadows’ texts. Someone on Meadows’ team, possibly? Targeting McDaniel as a way to influence the Republican primary?

Welp, this comment of mine in another thread didn’t age very well.

“Sorry you missed me,” Ward said. “I’m out enjoying my freedom.”

“While I still can,” she added.

Is anyone else starting to get the feeling that the entire GOP and its machine are crooks? It sure seems that way. 🥸

Any thoughts?

something I read yesterday suggested that Smith doesn’t want to clutter up prosecuting TFG and will go after smaller fish in descending order of importance later.

The GOP call that an orgy.
