Where did they find these cowards? Why are they so afraid?
I suspect he will not find any antifa to kill by himself. On the other hand, it seems like he is setting the US solicitor for quite a losing wrongful death case when somebody in the department kills an unarmed anti-fascist person, given his incriminating statements.

Caputo’s career reads a bit like Paul Manafort’s – Russian ties including Putin adjacency, association with Roger Stone and kindred dirty operations, etc – a step lower level perhaps but just as shady. What appears to be a lifelong flirtation with paranoiac psychosis too but no surprise finding him in Trump’s orbit regardless; a rather good fit given what Trump’s plans for DOJ if it comes to that.
ETA: with apologies to The Boss, when confronted by the history of Trump and his hires I mostly hum, “[T]he highway’s jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive;” heroes only in their own minds natch.

At the time, Caputo had just been diagnosed with head and neck cancer. While he did not reveal that on the broadcast, Caputo said he was not in good physical health and declared that his “mental health has definitely failed.” He went on to describe feeling “alone” in Washington where there were “shadows on the ceiling in my apartment.”
“There alone, shadows are so long,” Caputo said.
I don’t believe for a second that some vague religious experience changed him. He’s mentally troubled and needs professional help.
IOW, he’s a perfect fit for the Trump administration.

Yes. And every time some wingnut maganut starts spewing about “Antifa!!”, they need to be characterized as “pro fascist.” Spell it out.
Ditto for opposition to “DEI”. It isn’t “DEI”. It’s the condemning of the very concepts of diversity of all kinds, equality among people particularly as their rights are concerned, and inclusion of all as part of the team.
Don’t let the trumpublicans debase the language. Don’t let them substitute slogans for indefensible concepts. Take back words! (I know, this will be all but impossible for Dems who lean too close to the academic ivory towers… but TRY.)
