She’s not going to let this go.

Feels like we’re back in the 1600s with all these witches being hunted… :broom:

We need to protect NRA members from the truth they can’t handle!
Imagine the dissidence knowing the NRA collaborated with an enemy of the USA!!
Why their already crazed brains would turn into soup!

He’s going to tell them about documents obtained from the State Department’s Office of the Legal Adviser concerning the State Dept. and Ukraine.

Something tells me this is going to be big.

The NRA should not be able to redact discovering documents from a firm that they hired. This firm was employed by the NRA, this firm has been subpoenaed, the NRA has itself been subpoenaed and discovering should happen, unencumbered!

Volker and Yovanovitch will also be testifying; Volker on Thursday and Yovanovitch on 11 Oct according to the WAPO.

I love it when a plan comes together! Pompeo is sweating more than most fat men do.

Ahhhhh never mind this…According to the New York Times, back in March the Screaming Carrot Demon ordered the construction of a moat filled with poisonous snakes and alligators to keep out illegal border crossers.

He also wanted the army to blast them but informed that having the army shoot them down was illegal, he demanded they be shot in the legs instead, which in his mind is somehow BETTER but he was told that too was illegal.

No word on if Mexico will pay for the alligators.

NRA outside counsel William Brewer told TPM in a statement that the gun group wants a chance to “redact privileged information.”

Well, if that’s really all and their concerns are legitimate, then I’m sure the Judge could appoint a neutral third party to review the documents, as in the Michael Cohen case. But I’m sure that’s not the NRA’s real reason.

That’ll last until it reaches the first corrupt Trump judge.

While we’re on an impeachment kick, there are a few judges that should be included.

Pompeo was an ass in 2015. He remains an ass today.

But I can’t keep track of which side is the “witch” and which side is the “hunter” - as between the NRA and Ackerman and their long and corrupt relationship - they both seem to fill both roles.

That doesn’t stop my deep support for AG James, and craving for popcorn.

One has to wonder if he realizes that his post-SecofState ambitions - are withering up and blowing in the wind - as his role becomes more public. Hell - he is making Tillerson appear to be (somewhat) principled in trying to serve the public (holding some restraints on Trump on his extreme wishes/actions in No Kor and Iran - which led to his unceremonious firing.) And that took some heavy lifting of godawful badness to do.

He’s supposed to be thinking of running for the senate in Kansas because he’s been traveling back there recently. The state recently elected a Democratic governor so you have to wonder what his prospects are and I’d hope the old adage ETTD would apply.

The remake of Red Dawn has prepped NRA members for embracing the Russians as fellow white freedom-fighters.

The 2012 version changed the invading enemy from the Soviets to North Koreans (changed from Chinese in post-production).

Look for a 2020 version in which the invaders are Californians trying to turn the entire country into a version of California (which is such a run-down freak show that nobody is willing to live there).

This is probably not about whether the NRA can redact the documents, but about giving the NRA an opportunity to contest whether the documents are discoverable at all. That’s the way these NDAs are generally written: the party with the documents required to be submitted in response to a discovery demand has to notify the other party to the NDA so that it can argue that the documents should not be handed over to the other litigant. If the NRA can’t defeat the discovery demand then it will, as a last resort, try to get them redacted.

The only legal right that the NRA should be concerned about is the right to remain silent…

Better for toothless zombies though. …oh wait… that sort of describes a big chunk of the NRA.
