Tens of thousands of additional deaths occurred in the United States between March and July of 2020 on top of the COVID-19 death toll, according to a paper released this week.
Some of these excess deaths may have been improperly categorized because, early on, we didn’t understand that severe clotting leading to cardio-vascular and renal failures were possible.
Sadly, there were also states that were eager to downplay the impact of the virus and used a strict standard of proof that resulted in Covid-19 deaths being attributed to pneumonia and other causes.
Even if some of these were systemic (e.g. people not going to the hospital to get life-saving treatment because they were afraid of contracting Covid) they largely would not have happened if the federal government had adopted the “Public Health” approach instead of the “Hunger Games” approach.
Excess deaths is simply a by-product of hospitals and medical staff working at full or overload capacity. Many people who wouldn’t have died had they been able to get regular treatment, simply fell between the cracks when hospital facilities to treat them simply weren’t available or when they didn’t want to go to a hospital for fear of infection. These are deaths due to disruption that probably wouldn’t have happened without the pandemic.
They are still trying the Bull Phucky of only 6% COVID deaths, heard it on the radio just the other day. Bets the discrepancies in “red” run states will never be corrected and the Death Cert will just say unknown causes. Those unknown causes in reality are 1000% incompetence at the Federal as well as the State levels. In my red state, we have been listed within the top 10 states for COVID infections for weeks, the ass of a gov however says all is well open everything.
The Melaniese dialect is heavily influenced by Trumpish. In Trumpish “best” would be translated as “ordinary” in standard English. When refering to something of the most superior quality they use the word “bestest”.
