New Revelations About Stone And Wikileaks Cast Mueller As ‘Hamlet’ | Talking Points Memo

Mueller is way too old to play Hamlet. This would be the role of a lifetime for Vin Diesel.

Bullshit. Mueller is a supremely passive-aggressive Republican crony who carried out his mission to the letter, as conveyed in no uncertain terms by Rosenstein: Indict the designated henchmen and keep your hands off Trump and his crime family.

PROVE ME WRONG

They gave Trump the benefit of the doubt when he was at that time publicly lying, obstructing justice and generally behaving like the miscreant he is? Who in their right mind could look at Trump on a daily basis and think anything he did, including mistakes, was honest? If Mueller had such great respect for the office of president, he should have defended it from the yahoo who occupied it. Where is the courage he showed in Vietnam? The investigators weren’t being respectful and cautious, they had been intimidated. Look what has happened to Burman. That threat, and possibly worse, was there back then too. Mueller was knocked out in round two. The mob told him to “take a fall and don’t get up”.

Cotter described Mueller as “Hamlet,” noting that “he’s so conflicted and he respects the presidency so much.

Just as I thought… Mueller was a sell out and deliberately went soft on Trump. Too bad Trump never thank him publicly.

I cannot prove you wrong, at least not right at the moment, because the necessary proof is all either in the redacted half of the Mueller Report, or in the long list of things not yet investigated by anyone (including the Democratic-led House of Representatives, who have chosen not to invoke inherent contempt, because, well, you tell me)?

Can’t we all just get along?

Can you believe it? The president knew, he knew. I don’t know what to say. I’m devastated.

I thought @lish’s challenge was fine, and so was @smoscom’s response.

But that’s just me.

As more comes out about Mueller’s work, he looks less and less competent. I think history will judge him as someone not up to the job, and who couldn’t bring himself to do the hard thing.

A deal with whom? The best trump can hope for is resigning and Pence pardoning him. trump is still on the hook for crimes committed in NY.

Goddamit…I had that copied and ready to paste when I came in here haha

I’ll resort to one of my favorite Shakespeare Hamlet quotes instead …

“Words, words, words.”

Always liked that one cuz it’s so easy to remember haha

Forget prison, Stone should stand before a firing squad for the deliberate damage he has done to this country.

Of course trump lied to Mueller.
Sheesh!

My favorite is “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers” from Henry VI, but it didn’t seem appropriate to the thread.

Stone’s already published his own eff-you manifesto to Mueller, Rosenstein, and the Deep State:
