Anyway, I don’t know how we can distinguish between this being a real thing with Walker vs. just a way to escape responsibility for past actions like holding a gun to a woman’s head, constant lying, and so on. It’s just a little too convenient, you know?
On the one hand, Republicans think Fetterman is unfit to serve because he had a stroke - from which he will recover from, but, on the other hand, have absolutely no problem running a guy with CTE - an incurable condition. A deeply cynical party.
I think @geographyjones has it right - they will get more power against unions.
The grocery business has been notorious for being low-margin. Blaming them for high grocery prices is a bit misguided; it’s a bit like blaming the CEO of Exxon for high gasoline prices - there are a lot of moving parts between the wellhead and the pump.
We don’t do anyone any favors by appointing cartoon villains. Let’s leave that to the GQP.
