If none of the new reps get to vote, Qevin’s qaqus holds a 211-200 majority. I’m pretty confident that the new reps get to vote on the Speakership, as that would be a huge oversight by everyone involved if they don’t get a vote.

What you (or US News) are suggesting is that Hakeem Jeffries will be elected Speaker of the House, which is silly. Returning Dems outnumber returning Qanons 209-202. That’s 222 Dems - 1 death - 12 primary and general election defeats versus 213 Qanons minus 11 primary and general election defeats as before the 2022 elections.
