He’s not well. Maybe insane.

“Two weeks ago China was in grave economic danger! The very high Tariffs I set made it virtually impossible for China to TRADE into the United States marketplace which is, by far, number one in the World,” Trump wrote.

“We went, in effect, COLD TURKEY with China, and it was devastating for them. Many factories closed and there was, to put it mildly, ‘civil unrest,’” Trump claimed. “I saw what was happening and didn’t like it, for them, not for us. I made a FAST DEAL with China in order to save them from what I thought was going to be a very bad situation, and I didn’t want to see that happen.”

Wow! Morning Memo before 9 am Eastern!

As for Dan Bongino, I have ZERO sympathy for him. Former government employees/contractors have committed SUICIDE because of the actions of this lawless regime. And I’m supposed to feel bad for Danny cuz his wife didn’t move to DC with him? To quote the Secretary of Hair Extension, SUCK IT.

Which is far better than the rampant rioting, looting, arson and civil unrest that occurred after Trump imposed tariffs. Xi will be lifting martial law any day and China can begin to heal.

I think TACO has the potential to drive Trump insane. The tables are turned and at last the perfect derisive nickname has been unveiled. Red hats with TACO, chants of Taco at football games, TACO flags - big ones flying from EVs! And it’s shorter and more succinct than “Let’s Go Brandon”. It needs to be shoved down their greedy throats.

We really shouldn’t celebrate someone’s passing.

Oh, what the hell…

Here in France the pre-9 AM thing is not a plus. It’s usually 4 PM my time by the time it’s up and at least I’ve had my first glass of wine to gird myself for the madness. Right now I’m still on afternoon coffee.

One important modification to the above: “potential to drive Trump insane.” Um . . . .

I think it’s time to host a taco truck day near the White House.

A tip of the hat to the cognitive dissonance that we are all experiencing. The word of the day, hypernormalization.

And I’m in Belize, what with Daylight Savings Time we’re two hours earlier here. Currently 7:10am in beautiful Punta Gorda and I’m wondering why I’m even awake. Us retired folks are supposed to sleep in !

I thought about that for about a NY minute and then said, WTF…not in a very charitable mood this morning. Especially when these same people have run roughshod over anything good this country tries to stand up for. Nothing worse than a corrupt cop imo. The people that commit the kind of corruption that asshole did don’t deserve a fond farewell. He got off easy because he had friends in high places.
