Have you ever seen the documentary Jesus Camp? There’s a moment where the AV equipment for a presentation poops out, and these people are actually waving their hands over everything, trying to drive out the presence of Satan. It would be more effective to see if everything’s plugged in.

One of his tactics. If he can’t kill it, he is going to trying grab hold and curate the message for the public. So he will try to throw something like the testimony out as a distraction from the real meat and see if he can move the discussion to one he can dominate. Which he had done many times in the past and it worked. But this one, maybe not so much. His prelude to this move has been farcical and obvious. The biggest mistake, he is just not shutting up. And his handlers don’t seem to be trying to make that happen as well.
