During a Sunday appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) prompted laughter in the studio after he pushed President Donald Trump’s thoroughly debunked conspiracy theory about Ukrainian election interference.
Just think, Cruz considers himself a Christian.
So the non-journalist non-questions the non-Texan about the actual evidence of real collusion with Russia by 45* .
Cruz is a joke. Chuck trying to get a word in on his own show allows Cruz to spew. Next.

Allowing lies to be spewed uninterrupted on Upchuck Toad’s show is as predictable as spittle launches from Crisp Matthews.
Ted Cruz has fallen into line. That’s a nonstory. But for the crew of a Republican-apologist like Chuck Todd to laugh out loud at Cruz is something. This gives me hope that the Democratic strategy on impeachment is paying some dividends, at least with the segment of Americans that aren’t brainwashed.

“I do, and I think there’s considerable evidence of that,” Cruz replied.
“You do? You do?” Todd asked incredulously, drawing laughs off-screen.
“Yes,” the Republican lawmaker said.

There’s the problem right there. “Do you believe”? Chuckie should have asked him “What evidence do you have to support your belief?” This is gone on for far too long for some reporter or Democratic lawmaker to say “Put up, or shut up”.
As Senator Kennedy keeps say “you have your opinion,” well show us the beef!
That split begs the question: whose beard most wants off?
These “Christians” should remember Jesus and the money changers in the temple.
So the question becomes: which Republican has prostituted himself/herself more in the service of the Traitor-in-Chief?

Cruz knows he ain’t no Christian, and I think that’s where the laughter comes from.
He is a morally rotten cynic who thinks he’s fooling enough people to continue his charade.
I wish there had been a reporter there to press Cruz on his evidence. But no.

Is it not possible that this president is capable of creating a false narrative about somebody in order to help him politically?” Todd pressed
Except that’s not what happened,” Cruz said, before accusing the press of playing “a game.”
Cruz then cited an op-ed from a former Ukrainian ambassador as proof of their interference, to which Todd replied, “You’re saying a pick-pocket, which essentially is a Hill op-ed, compared to Bernie Madoff and Vladimir Putin. You are trying to make them both seem equal. I don’t understand that.”
Packers game, definitely. (Besides, I don’t want to do anything - even if it mocks Cruz - that might give Chuck Todd some credibility.)
