Living in complete denial that President Trump’s one-term presidency is coming to a close, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro took to Fox News on Saturday night to falsely proclaim that President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20 can be delayed.
Any possibility that there can be a hefty supply of Democratic politicians explaining what treachery against the country is going on. Explaining in words Billy Bob in Bumfreak, Alabama, or even Chuck Grassley can understand. ETA: Since propaganda works, isn’t it wise for Democrats to explain the GOP propaganda game to amateurs and the busy people? At least to get yourself on the record as to what’s right and wrong, party aside. Better yet release video of GOP explaining their devious machinations to allied ratfockers.
Navarro: look, man, I’ve got certain information, all right? Certain things have come to light. And, you know, has it ever occurred to you, that, instead of, uh, you know, running around, uh, uh, blaming me, you know, given the nature of all this new shit, you know, I-I-I-I… this could be a-a-a-a lot more, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, complex, I mean, it’s not just, it might not be just such a simple… uh, you know?
To which any sane person would reply: What in god’s holy name are you blathering about!!
You have to remember that Navarro’s professional life ends on the 20th of January. He proposed a mass casualty event as solid policy. He will never again be able to find a job that doesn’t involve debasing himself on Fox News. It is a terrible time for Peter. Next step a janitor’s job at the Heritage Foundation.
Sure, Pete. You’re going to hate it when you find out that if the inauguration were delayed (which won’t happen) Nancy Pelosi would automatically become POTUS at 12:01 p.m. on Jan. 20.
As they say, “Life’s a beach … and then you drown.”
P.S. I would call him a dumbfuck but I don’t want to insult and demean all the other dumbfucks on the planet.
Let’s say that Pence gets cold feet and decides to check out of the whole mess rather than get blamed. Let’s say he - oh, I dunno - says he has to quarantine because he came into close contact…yadda yadda yadda. Who would take his place?
In the House it would be Nancy (heh), but in the Senate?
If the inaugural is delayed, the first act of President Nancy Pelosi would probably be to order the immediate arrest of all those committing sedition against the United States…
…it would be a fine way to close out her career in Government.
The vice president, the statement continued, “welcomes the efforts of members of the House and Senate to use the authority they have under the law to raise objections and bring forward evidence before the Congress and the American people on Jan. 6th.”
Chuck Grassley fully understands, he just doesn’t care and is playing along because he‘s afraid of lots of his RWNJ constituents — plus, of course, he‘s a power hungry Gooper.
IANAL But if their side can pursue all these cockamamie lawsuits, can we the people file suit against their treacherous actions? I believe we have more standing than all of them combined.
[Latin seditio , literally, separation, from sed apart + itio act of going, from ire to go] : the crime of creating a revolt, disturbance, or violence against lawful civil authority with the intent to cause its overthrow or destruction compare criminal syndicalism, sabotage
I’ve been scouring the Constitution and I keep missing the part where a WH Trade Advisor is allowed to determine when the inauguration can be delayed or set aside. I’m not saying that his boss won’t float that idea on Twitter, but aside from the “challenge the states we don’t want to count” caucus there isn’t much support for it.
I realize that Pirro is an unlikely candidate for speaking truth to morons, but even she seems to realize that this is an absurdity. It would be fun if someone asked him to comment on the possibility that this action would result in a President Pelosi. I’m sure he would have some non-sequiturial (a word I just made up) response, but it would be interesting to watch it become part of the conversation. This is, I’m sure, the reason that Pirro hasn’t pointed it out–the last thing they want is for the actual Constitution to become part of the conversation.
