NASA successfully launched its newest robotic explorer to Mars on Monday afternoon.
The Maven spacecraft blasted off from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 1:28 p.m. EST aboard the unmanned Atlas V rocket, according to NASA.
