Nadler and trumPP have acrimonious history going back decade when Nadler as NYS legislator shut down some real estate projects of trumPP’s.

Nothing ostentatious, but a two-level effect would be nice.

Eat your own words, Trump supporters. Nom nom nom.

A spoonful every day
In your double-shot latte.
Or maybe toss a bunch
On your salad when you lunch.

Not as brilliant as Donald’s hair in that pic of him and Graham!

It really is great and helps our cause that both the NYT and the WP carry the trial live.
I’m sure that there are many other sites that do also.

And the WP does not even require you to be a subscriber. Anyone can watch.

I was struck when you referred to Sylvia Garcia as “not the best speaker.” Given where she grew up, in Jim Wells County–the sticks, it is likely that English is her second language. I know hundreds of women like her, Hispanic women who were born poor, and grew up struggling with language, sexism, poverty, and lack of opportunity, and just wouldn’t quit until they reached their goal Women like Congresswoman Garcia are the heart, soul, and backbone of the Texas that is striving to create a more equitable state. One of my friends is a woman about Sylvia Garcia’s age, who has come from far down the social ladder to achieve much. She retired as an assistant school superintendent a few years ago She told me that, even after a lifetime career speaking English, she still sometimes found herself struggling to translate ideas from Spanish to English before she spoke. I’m sure you meant no offense in your comments about Garcia’s speaking ability. I just want to point out that it is a long, long way from a family of twelve in Palito Blanco, Texas to the well of the United States Senate, and Sylvia Garcia deserves enormous respect for making that journey. Here is her biography.

With a little path running down the middle.

It’s crazy how Lindsay is able to argue both sides of the case…from the cloakroom.

None of this works on people that have no shame - but hopefully it resonates with voters who are undecided and are paying attention. Cataloging the hypocrisy of the Republican party is like cleaning out the augean stables - it is a huge job and it smells bad too.

Well, common sense would dictate that you remain in your seat. I mean, we’re not renaming a post office here.

Common sense is not a rule of the Senate.

The “adjusted” numbers from Fivethirtyeight put it at 42/52, so not great.

Have to go OT now that you’re here but if you like cancione you must watch a CNN biography of Linda Ronstadt who toured with a mariachi band late in her career and slayed everywhere they went. She grew up 40 minutes from Mexico in Tucson, family spoke Spanish, sang in Spanish, and Mexicans are dear and close to her heart. She has Parkinson’s and can’t sing any longer but we can have years and years of her work to keep us company.

2016 UKR conspiracy theory ‘brought to you by the Kremlin’ - Rep Adam Schiff.

Dems doing an outstanding job of tying Russian conspiracy theories to the center of the UKR scandal.
