If it pisses off the Russians, errrr, republicans, then it was a good decision.

Nothing like the smell of fear in the GOP in the morning to wake up to.

Already made my day.

actually it was pretty funny watching collins come unglued.
He ran straight to the reporters and was beside himself with anger.
Jumped right into the victim mode.
hypocrisy in maximum overdrive,
louie was so mad he dared not speak lol
all i heard from him was “dictators”
sometime you have to wait all the way to end of a movie to get to the funny part.
it was very funny. lol

A) You must be living a very sheltered life and (B) Not even close to why people don’t like you.

What a great movie … and it doesn’t have Russian subtitles.

Yet.

Delay the vote for the news? Yeah, because we all know cable news doesn’t cover a single event all.day.long. Hell, half the time a “Breaking News” story I watch before work is still “Breaking News” when I get home at night. The only thing that changes is the person covering it and the member of the panel discussing it.

Not sure what they would be afraid of. The entire votes is going to be along party lines - if there are any defections it will be on the Democratic side.

I think the anger is just posturing for Fox.

Yes! If we needed proof that there isn’t enough real news for the 24-hour squawkers, the constant announcements of breaking news that are more than a day old are it. Pathetic.

some Republicans erupted at the decision, accusing Nadler of scuttling their travel plans and jockeying for optimal television coverage.

I know, it’s terrible to have to do your job for a full work week. Like everyone else…

Republicans in full manufactured outrage and victimhood mode. It’s all they’ve got. And with the Trump cultists, it continues to blind them to the truth that Donnie is corrupt and doesn’t give a s–t about anyone but himself.

If they had voted last night, the Republicans would have complained about the impeachment happening at “the dead of night when America was sleeping.”

Slow-walking Jerry’s slow-walking pays off this time! :joy:

Manufactured outrage and victimhood = GOP smoke and mirrors

ETA: somewhat OT but apropos gaggingly outrageous hypocrisy, there’s this over at WaPo

Speaker Pelosi said that there will be no “whipping” of votes for impeachment because that would be unseemly for such a serious Constitutional matter. This is not legislation, but a vote to impeach.

Are any sites tracking prospective votes in favor of impeachment? What is the likelihood of the House voting to impeach? Do Democrats have the votes to impeach?
