House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NJ) said Wednesday that Attorney General Bill Barr should recuse himself in light of the revelation Wednesday that Trump told the Ukrainian president he should contact Barr to discuss dirt on Joe Biden.
“The President dragged the Attorney General into this mess,” Nadler wrote on Twitter after the transcript was released. “At a minimum, AG Barr must recuse himself until we get to the bottom of this matter. #UkraineTranscript.”
If Barr recuses himself, I can only guess the insults that will be coming his way from the Dotard. Even Jeff Sessions would be shocked.
‘The Justice Department said in a statement after the transcript was released that Trump “has not spoken with the Attorney General about having Ukraine investigate anything relating to former Vice President Biden or his son.”’
More and more, as today’s events unfold - I’m convinced Barr is on someone’s payroll - and it’s not Trump. He’s in there to ‘fix’ things - so it doesn’t go too far.
Too far ‘up the ladder’ is my guess.
In which case, to serve his ‘real’ agenda - Barr might, might throw Trump under the bus. Because Barr knows not only where the body’s are hidden - he knows who hired him to hide them.
Sessions is a racist and a paleo-conservative, but he had a residual respect for the democratic institutions. If Barr had any he has already frittered away and he is now a full blown co-conspirator and accomplice of the criminal organization operating from the WH…
Given how insanely fast this story is developing, I’m perfectly fine with Nadler saying resign today, and saying impeach tomorrow. I feel like the whirlwind of the last week has demonstrated the wisdom of House leadership taking a methodical and even hand, although I’m sure others disagree.
Barr was not dragged into it, but ran as fast as his legs would carry him. Barr is a criminal and needs to spend some time behind bars. Stop making excuses for him.
