Deporting Mush is not enough. One has to sever him from X in order to prevent him from further undermining democracy through censorship and partisan propaganda.
I realize it sounds like nit-picking, but we really need to stop the pseudo-intellectual punch-pulling of phrases like “non-insignificant”. The risk is not non-insignificant. The risk IS SIGNIFICANT!!

Money is not speech.
Someone needs to go after Musk for frivilous lawsuits and judge shopping. Also, that judge in the Northern District of Texas needs to be impeached and removed.
Trumpers pretend they hate immigrants but…money makes them spin and defend.
I always love these hard hitting pieces about Musk and twitter which have the twitter byline.

Really?
One would think they would have vetted the speakers to avoid saying the quiet part out loud.

Me, too. I’m running on about 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night because the polls keep inching closer and closer no matter how great an appearance she makes and what a flaming POS he is.
Thanks. Saw some of the reporting coverage tonight. What an amazing shit show.
They knew exactly what they were getting. His lines were on the Teleprompter. They thought it was hilarious and were not expecting this (very small) backlash. Why would they worry about it? Trump called the US a garbage can a week ago, and some time before that he complained, “It takes $60,000 to bury a fu**ing Mexican?” No push-back from either one of his comments. It was just the wrong venue I guess. I doubt that it cost him many votes, either.
On a related topic…
When I heard that Bezos told the then editor (who promptly resigned) not to endorse anyone for president, breaking a very long record and practice of doing so. My initial reaction was to think of Timothy Snyder’s book On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons From The Twentieth Century.
This cowardly response by Bezos is clearly a fear based reaction to Trump’s threats to retaliate, promising to punish those who cross him. Endorsing Harris would have be perceived by Trump a serious blow in Trump’s eyes.
Snyder’s rule #1 is Do Not Obey In Advance. “Most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and then offer themselves without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do.”
These days that is a perfectly legal tip for services.
