FBI Director Robert Mueller told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that the continuing resolution passed by the GOP-controlled House to fund the federal government through September could undermine FBI’s efforts to continue to transform the bureau into a national security agency.“Under current levels of the continuing resolution the FBI will have to absorb over $200 million in cuts, and without any changes the current CR will leave us with over 1100 vacant positions by the end of the year,” Mueller said.
