Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is at war with fellow conspiracy theorist and grifter Lin Wood, a pro-Trump lawyer who’s facing disbarment for trying to overturn the 2020 elections in court. There are multiple angles to their squabble, and all of them are very funny.
Being a dog person myself, this is just piling on the crappy start to the morning.

This morning I’m just pissed at how VA and NJ are being painted as losses/warnings for the Democrats and not, I dunno, all of America? Sure the Democratic Party saw some upsets, but the trend should terrify every person in this country who cares about not sliding into GOP fascism.
This is one of those cases of subtle but important media biases.

Grown adults rotely tagging anyone they disagree or have a squabble with as communists, Marxists or socialists. Just because. With no sense of the stupidity of it all. Seemingly everyone on Right never matured past the age of 12.

Here’s an idea. Bring in former professors or professors who aren’t employed at FL colleges and universities.
Ahhhhh, but ask one of them to actually tell you what communism, Marxism or socialism even means and you get…“um…dunno, but it’s bad!”

That’s probably what’s going to happen. Once upon a time, states were proud of their higher-ed systems and their legislatures wanted to hear what their home-grown research leaders had to say about pertinent issues. That’s apparently not no longer true: reality seems to have a liberal bias, and the GQP hates that.
They are absorbing another idea that the GOP has decided to make into a buzz word that will trigger an anger response. From the propaganda point of view if they don’t have a clue what it means, so much the better.
