Mastriano’s an absolute classic wingnut and he’s been playing these games for some time. Unfortunately he’s in one of the reddest parts of the state and money contributed to his opponent won’t accomplish much.
I’m not sure how this idiot can get away with not getting the vaccine. Of course, he’s a star and America loves stars at any cost.

Andrew was criticized earlier this year when he revealed himself to be a vaccine sceptic, saying in January: “Just because everyone’s heading in one direction, why do we have to follow that direction?” On Thursday night, he came clean and told media that he has still not had his shots—and has no plans to do so. “I am not fully vaccinated, I’m not vaccinated,” he said. “My reason behind it is, for one, it was kind of a last moment, I didn’t want to put anything in my body that I didn’t know how I would potentially react to… I have not had the vaccine yet and don’t plan on it in the future.” Andrew is the most well-known Olympian to reveal they have not received COVID vaccine.

The Arizona Senate will conduct its own recount of the total number of Maricopa County ballots cast in last fall’s election, Senate President Karen Fann said Thursday.
The Senate has purchased two paper-counting machines to serve as a check on the work done by its contractor, Cyber Ninjas, as well as the count done by county elections officials.
Too late to do anything meaningful; it’s all bullshit now. The idiot Cyber Ninjas have smashed the chain of custody, hauling boxes of ballots around, using people not certified, etc., so any recounting done now is totally invalid.
I hope the DoJ charges a bunch of them for failing to maintain the ballots secure for two years, as they are required to do by law.
Would love to see Japan refuse him entrance to the country.
Not to mention, with I think it is, 5% vaccinated in Japan, he may not just bring home a gold medal.
Japan should refuse to let him in the country. If they don’t, the International Olympic Committee should refuse to let him participate.

There was plenty of warning, plenty of news outlets reporting on the virus, plenty of people begging them to get vaccinated, and there’s been a surfeit of vaccine available for months in this country. They have no one to blame but themselves and the right-wing media they consume like toxic candy.
Sorry, I’m just furious that there are still so many people unnecessarily dying from Covid-19.
