An Indiana chapter of the group Moms For Liberty, which was labeled an “extremist group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center earlier this month, posted an apology on Thursday morning after publishing a newsletter fronted with a quote from Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
And they say we have a messaging problem.
“We take umbrage at being called ‘extremist’ by certain (((groups))),” the organization later posted.
Moms for liberty has no presence in my town. I’m watching.
“Well, Hitler loved animals, so what’s the big deal?”
Here in the Cumberland Valley we have a Hitler type (Christian) person running for School Board.
Her advertising to get in the Primary was far and above her ability to pay so we fine out she is one of those Moms.
She will probably win simply because we have a large number of fools who no nothing about public education.
It appears she never taught in a public school but we all know Jesus whispered in her ear, and so it goes.
I often see progressives using this quote about themselves, but it’s worth remembering that it applies in the other direction too.
“Never underestimate the stupidity of people in large groups.”
My preferred variant:
“The intelligence of the world is constant, the population is increasing - do the math…” 
Nothing says “we’re not extremists” like quoting Hitler 
“We condemn Adolf Hitler’s actions and his dark place in human history,” Paige Miller, the chairwoman of the Hamilton County Moms For Liberty, wrote.
Adding, “That’s why we will work tirelessly to rehabilitate his reputation in the public’s mind and restore his deserved place in the pantheon of great leaders.”

Seems like a meteoric rise. I do not think this M4L group is spreading merely by word of mouth.
The assault on education has really accelerated since Trump took office. This panic over woke sexuality is disguising a concerted effort to undermine the citizenry. After all, dumb people are easy to manipulate – just look at MAGAs.

“Moms for Liberty”? Only in the Orwellian sense. More like “Moms for Repression.”
Tell me Morons for Liberty are unread and uneducated without telling me.

An earlier investigation revealed that virtually all of the complaints about books in school libraries throughout the country were filed by 11 people.
Moms for Liberty is unquestionably an Astroturfed front group funded by the usual right-wing billionaire(s).
Let’s not forget who all funds this misnamed bunch of republicans.
