Minnesota U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen announced an eight-count felony indictment against 15 anti-ICE protesters Tuesday, centered on a broad “antifa”-inflected conspiracy. During a Tuesday press conference, Rosen would not say whether any federal officers were actually harmed, despite one of the counts being conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer and two of the…
ICE murders people without consequence while the regime indicts people for putting dents in car doors. Seems appropriate.
These are exactly the types of charges I’d love to see a jury laugh out of court. And given the amount of abuse the citizens of the Twin Cities have endured, I wouldn’t be too surprised when it happened.
So, what lies were told to the grand jury this time, I wonder?
I eagerly await these bullshit indictments getting laughed out of court. Mark it, Dude!
Josh makes an excellent point in his Editor’s Blog on this subject:
Those who believe in civic democracy need to start a process now either to bring sanctions against the prosecutors who bring these cases and the U.S. attorneys from whose offices they are brought or at least to make them radioactive for future legal employment, if formal sanctions are not possible.
I guess that guy doesn’t want to have a career in Minneapolis
So it’s against the law to follow a police officer in your car?
And talking about what you are going to do when the storm troopers leave their office to start their day of law-breaking and maybe murder is illegal too?
We have the right to assemble and voice our grievances. You don’t like it, you’re in the wrong line of work. Probably would be better suited working in a slaughterhouse, but then, those animals don’t deserve these people either.
I hope the TPM crew will identify any conduit/web site by which citizens may provide donations to help cover legal costs of these accused.
Since ICE officers are allowed to appear masked and apparently don’t have to identify themselves to anyone, how are civilians supposed to know that someone is an officer and not just an armed cosplaying nutbar?
The Broadview six are asking for a special counsel and charges to be brought against their prosecutors.
Only fascists attack anti-fascists. What kind of numbskull supports fascism?
That’s a rhetorical question, right?
Every Prosecutor, DA, cop, ICE employee and all Republicans.
Yarmakuled Fed Prosecutor Rosen is happy taking the side of fascism by claiming the Minnesotans are inspired and organized Antifa conspiracists. What a Judenrat loser. We look forward to the Grand Jury throwing a big fat NO at him. He should go eat the ham sandwich he would be better at indicting.
Judenrat.
They’ll probably move the jurisdiction for that phase.
