This fall and winter may be really rough, even compared to last year. Bleak in my view. If you read the article, pay attention to the responses when Cobia asks her patients why they didn’t get vaccinated. One of the fears early on of social media is the silo effect of information and exposure to different view points. This virus is illustrating with precision that the fear is a reality now and with devastating effect.

Honestly, at this point I am starting to think these anti-vaxxers deserve for COVID to mutate into a strain that kills 10% of those who contract it in three days, makes all of them horribly ill, is more contagious than Delta, and has no effect on the vaccinated. Sure, it would overwhelm the medical system in the red areas (and, really, the surrounding blue areas that actually care for all their patients), but it would also serve them right to have real consequences for their irresponsible actions.

It won’t happen, that’s not how viruses mutate, but at this point I’m fed up with people like Kidd and think they really deserve the worst result possible for their actions.

It’s all crap. The man spends his day legislating which is…telling people how to live. The issue here is defending Trump. Trump did nothing about COVID so they do nothing. Some will die but it will be hard to shed a tear for them.
