For as long as I can remember (I am turning 76 tomorrow) I watched every political convention, both sides.
This year I am making an exception for Trump’s Nuremberg rally.

They make one question the wisdom of reaching out to Republicans…but they ARE the true face of the GOP now.

Here is the “message” that will come out from the “Republican Convention” (which is really just a photo-op on the White House Lawn); “The Blacks, Browns, Gays, and Godless Communists are COMING FOR YOUR GUNS, BIBLES, and WOMEN. Only God-King Trump can protect your precious pickup truck from the ravening hordes of Prius-driving, Latte-sipping, Hipster-ANTIFA rioters that want to burn down your small business, loot your house, take your children and wives away from you, lower your PROPERTY VALUES, take away your BEER, and make you wear sandals, tie-dye shirts, and a man-bun.”
The problem with the McCloskeys is that they don’t live in suburbia, they live in a very nice part of St. Louis City, which is not St. Louis County.
