What a delight to have so many extremely capable women to choose from.

That’s a plus-plus, but at this point, any higher functioning individual is a plus.

It is and I like them all. I really don’t care who it is at this point.

She’s absolutely well-qualified, I am still pitching pennies in my Susan Rice jar as I pass by, however. “The Mister & A Sister!”

Mind you, there’s likely to be one or two more in-person interviews. This just shows that Biden is whittling down the short list.

O bazinga! That’s good, really good. hahahaha

I want someone with some sass. If there’s no sass, she don’t pass. Susan does have some sass.

Yep. Girlfriend has that “quiet fire” thing going for her in spades. All well-mannered and courtly, then suddenly the knives come out and the victim is bleeding out onto the white carpet.

The media loves this stuff. Everyone gets to write a story and speculate. Then after whoever is chosen there will so many articles telling us why it is a good decision for the democrats and the same people will weigh in why it’s bad.

The way I hear it’s all this and she can cuss, too. The skill will come in handy during the rebuilding phase as they discover ever more buried bodies.

A brain stem in a jar of formaldehyde could best Pence in a debate.

(Gov. Whitmer or Sen. Harris would probably leave him sobbing.)

I hadn’t thought Whitmer made the final shortlist. This is interesting to me.

I like her. Biden has many great choices. I’m still hoping it will be Susan Rice.

After the way several of the Black women on his short list have been treated by the media and some of Joe’s friends, picking a white woman would be a horrible mistake. Just pick Kamala already and get it over with.

Yeah once the transition begins it should get really interesting. Lots of cussing I suspect will be heard from 1600.

Back in '73, when Joe was a freshman in Congress, he came to my town. Yes, I saw him. He asked me how I was doing.

I think that in itself suggests I’m in the running.

Susan or Kamela are my picks. It’s true that the press has developed “narratives” around them but so what? “Safe” choices are over-rated, but no one listens to me, so …

The VP will be a woman of color, that’s for sure. Really don’t see him risking the backlash of not choosing one in the wake of BLM.

I’ve been pretty much all in for Rice, but this Whitmer twist is interesting. The press had virtually forgotten about her till now. And suddenly… Yes, very interesting. She’d leave Gilchrist back in Michigan as governor, which would make the first black governor ever in the US.
