Miami Cops Handed Out Fliers With Links To Trump Merch During Traffic Stops

A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things. This is TPM’s Morning Memo.

The Miami Herald discovered that Miami Beach police officers were giving city police fliers to drivers they’d pulled over that had a website link to an online Trump 2024 store. The fliers contained instructions on how to resolve traffic tickets online at the Clerk of Court’s website (miami-dadeclerk.com).

Sorry, but many people at many levels need to loose (i.e., fired for cause) their jobs. The second lesson is to stay away from Florida. Spend your money elsewhere. They are just plain crazy over there.

  • A demon had given him the first and last names of the alleged witches during an exorcism, Locke said . This helpful demon even provided an address for one of them, according to the pastor.

Um, there are about 30 states in that category.

Coincidence takes a lot of planning.

So did this demon also promise to cut you in on the estate of a Nigerian oil minister, by chance?

Of Course We Should Have These People Run Our Country Dept - Mattinpa

After his initial Tuesday shipment of MyPillow products was denied entry into Canada, Mike Lindell now has a backup plan to get free pillows to Canadian truckers: drop them from the sky via a helicopter. The pillow maven told The Daily Beast late Wednesday night that he intends to drop his pillows into Canada from a helicopter “with little parachutes” attached. “We need to get the MyPillows to the people!” he continued. The 2020 election dead-ender further made it a point to ensure The Daily Beast noted in this report that the pillows will have “little parachutes,” adding, “make sure you put that part in, or it could be dangerous.” Asked where exactly he intended to drop the pillows, he said, “I can not give the location out, and it is no joke! I just confirmed with them [the helicopter company], and yes, this is the plan. We have the helicopter confirmed, but we are moving the time up to 11 am.” The Daily Beast could not reach the Canada Border Services Agency for comment late Wednesday night.

Trump Hogging GOP Fundraising Efforts, Strategists Complain

Axios reports that top Republican officials have been privately grousing over Trump bombarding GOP donors with emails and texts asking for cash for himself, which could cause problems for the party’s efforts to boost other candidates.

IOW, dare i say it, DEMS IN DISARRAY!

Someday, maybe, Chuckie T might open his eyes and see the obvious to the rest of the world, if only he would cease being beholden to Republican’s mantra of Both Sides. Sadly, i reckon he’s already so far down that rabbit hole he’ll never be relevant in serious discourse again.

Morning Memo is too crazy today. Did The Onion grab TPM in a hostile takeover?

The Guardian says the Jan 6 Committee is discussing whether to subpoena Ivanka Trump.

“A persistent question for Ivanka Trump – who White House aides thought had the best chance of persuading the former president to condemn the rioters – was what she did about the situation and why her father did not call off the rioters in a White House address.”

I don’t think a daughter wife has immunity from testify against Daddy. /s

Sorry, eh

The American women tried to battle back but left themselves too much to do as they went down to a 3-2 defeat to Canada in the Olympic women’s hockey final in Beijing. The difference, once again, was Canadian team captain Marie-Philip Poulin—who has now scored the winning goal in three of the four Olympic finals she’s contested against Team USA since 2010, although the Americans won four years ago in Pyeongchang. Poulin scored twice as Canada built up a 3-0 lead. The Americans scored two in a desperate third-period fightback but, as USA Today put it: “The pings from two shots that hit the post—one from Hannah Brandt in the first period, another off Alex Carpenter’s stick in the third—will haunt Team USA for the next four years.”

Having lived in Tennessee, I know about some of those pentecostal churches and revivals where they speak in tongues and someone dies from a venomous snake’s bite from time to time. Sounds like this preacher can dispense with the snake-handling and just mess with the witches right there in his congregation. He’s already got the nonsense-talk thing mastered.

  • A Miami Beach police spokesperson said the department wasn’t aware of the wrong link until the Miami Herald asked about it, nor does the agency know how it happened. He said officers have since been instructed to stop handing out those fliers and provided newly corrected ones.

The corrected flyers now link to Desatan’s website where you can donate your traffic violation fine and receive a bumper sticker.

  • Locke screamed that he would expose the alleged witches right then and there under the tent if they “so much as cough wrong.”
    • Speaking of coughing, Locke (who’s told churchgoers not to get vaccinated) also claimed that some of the congregants had gotten sick because they “befriended” one of the witches.

Does this mean what it so often means, that Locke is under investigation for something really nasty?
