Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), the first member of Congress the House Jan. 6 select committee has reached out to in its investigation of the Capitol insurrection, announced viaTwitter on Tuesday that he won’t comply with the panel’s information request.
What he’s really saying is “I prefer for the FBI to execute a search warrant.” He’s too stupid to realize that’s what he’s saying, but that is nevertheless what he’s saying.
accused the committee of being “illegitimate” and “not duly constituted.”
Perry is a member of the political party that refused to exercise its authority to appoint members to the committee. If he has a problem with its legitimacy he should take it up with McCarthy, who can most assuredly explain it on a level Perry would understand.
“I decline this entity’s request,” the Republican tweeted, claiming that “the radical Left” was “desperately seek distraction from their abject failures.”
I’m pretty sure this isn’t an accurate transcription. The word “squirrel” doesn’t appear even once.
