WNBA athlete Sue Bird, the girlfriend of soccer star Megan Rapinoe, slammed President Donald Trump on Tuesday for attacking Rapinoe.
Trump is gonna Tweet congratulations to the Womens’ National Team and, in passing, note that Megan Rapinoe was not chosen to start. And then note that the Team won.
Rapinoe did not play today “due to a minor hamstring injury”. They expect her to play Sunday.
Exponentially petty on the part of Trump and not worthy of a “Head of State”…
Has never stopped him before.
I so admire Coach Ellis for knowing her team could win without Rapinoe, allowing her to rest and recover for Sunday. Coach Ellis for President!
The coach said she kept rapinoe active because she might have used her for penalty kicks.
Tengo ganas para el fin del locura de Trump…

Fine job, now hand back Trump’s balls back to him…such as they are…
Hey, if Donnie wants to take his balls and go home, it would be fine by me. We’d be happy to play on without him…
As do we all.
Estamos todos locos porque termine esta pesadilla. Y shitshow.
LOL. This fucking guy.
Makes me think back nostalgically about Phil Rizzutto on the Yankee TV broadcasts when I first got to NYC.
Actually, he makes me start to think that maybe John Sterling isn’t really all that terrible.
And Howard Cosell. Makes me feel a certain nostalgia for the merely obnoxious Howard Cosell.
Los dos juntos, hermano.
I was at one time a real baseball fan (when I was a Military Brat. Me and by pals would always root for the Yanks).
I am dating myself when I say that I used to watch people like Frank Robinson and Mickey Mantle compete on the Home Run Derby TV Show.
But some people I know are ballistic-level fans with allegiances and histories going back generations.
It was, I believe, Curt Gowdy (when doing a broadcast with the Great Willie Mays) who noted that baseball (especially in Mays’ era) was a sport in which an average sized guy of 5’11" or so could dominate.
And, no one knows how many home runs the winds of Candlestick Park blew back in Mays’ case.
True dat. I am dating myself when I say that Frank Robinson was, while still MVP for Baltimore Orioles, the Manager of the Santurce Crabbers of the PR Winter League. Never saw Mickey Mantle play, I don’t think. So don’t pull this I am older than you stuff on mi. Sabe?
And imagine if the Giants and Dodgers had not left NYC. All the HRs Willie Mays would have had.
That description should be permanently attached to any Trump quote. Good observation!
Now you’ve gone too far. Cosell had myself and millions of others wondering why they were paying him. Kind of like Jeff van Gundy.
FIFY!
Is there an LGBTQ designation for that?
