What a disgusting human being. What an embarrassment to America. More projection from him. Everything he does is weighed by how much he will profit from it, and so he assumes everybody else does the same. The idea that medical professionals do what they do out of empathy and care is foreign to him,. All of it is played through his personal prism, that everything about COVID is his solely there to make him look bad. The smell of desperation in his campaign is so thick that I can smell it out here in Califoirnia, I am 73, and my memory may be fading a bit but I don’t think Nixon - as bad as he was - was as truly evil to the core as Donald Trump.

I watched Frost/Nixon again last night. I hadn’t seen it in a long time, not since long before Trump, and the similarities between the Nixon headset as the film portrays him and Trump surprised me. Certainly Nixon had more essential decency than this freak we’re dealing with now, but the main issue – on a smaller scale – was the same. Abuse of power.
This country had a dry run, and the nation was outraged then. But we apparently didn’t learn. Now the abuse is a runaway train and presidential corruption has become a new normal.
Who are we now? This election really is about the soul of the nation. We’ve got to prevail.

Just think about it, if Donald had died, all of his business interests would have collapsed after being exposed. Do you really think Ivanka, Jr, and the other one would could hold it together? Don’t you think that the these 3 sibs would have done anything and everything to keep the other 2 from getting their share? I’m sure there’s a family blueprint for how Donald’s sibs went along with trying to short shrift Fred Jr.'s kids after Fred Sr. died.

Rachel had a segment last night with Joey. A nurse. By the time I finished listening to him, I was a wreck. Trump should be forced to stand quiet and let that nurse tell him what reality is. There would be all sort of perverse disincentives if doctors got “bounties” for individual diagnoses.
Trump just wants to deny people are dying. They really need to dump a day’s worth of bodies on the front porch of the White House. That would end his ability to deny the pandemic in one photograph.
