Meadows On Trump-Putin Call | Talking Points Memo

Of course he brought it up. He wants to make sure his Top Daddy Vlad is gonna help get him re-elected.

Has the motherfucker resigned yet?

Yup. Pence, too. They admitted that the country would be in much more capable hands run by Pelosi until Biden can take over in January.

Sounds like a solid ā€œyesā€, to me. Our so-called liberal media (SCLM) would apparently be outfoxed (…OK, maybe a little pun intended) by a toddler saying ā€œI didn’t do itā€ā€“w/ a face and hands full of cookie crumbs and a busted cookie jar on the floor. SMDH.

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows on Sunday declined to say whether President Trump brought up election interference during his call with Russian President Vladimir Putin…

Endless BS from this administration. It is so exhausting.

ā€œThey continue to try to influence, as everyone does across the globe,ā€ Meadows said. ā€œBut in terms of actually affecting the vote totals and interacting, I think we’re in a good place.ā€

Good place = The foreign meddlers are advocating for our side.

two different legislative actions that this President has signed off on to make sure that election integrity is important

A brief Google search, which is admittedly not a thorough investigation, returns:

The House on Wednesday passed its third bill aimed at preventing foreign interference in U.S. elections. Those bills stalled in the GOP-controlled Senate. (October 23, 2019); and

A measure requiring presidential campaigns to report any attempts by foreign entities interfering in U.S. elections was stripped by Senate Republicans as a condition of passing the National Defense Authorization Act (June 30, 2020).

No returns about Trump signing off on anything relevant to election interference. But then, we’re talking about Mark Meadows.

Meadows added that the Trump administration is willing to work with secretaries of states of all 50 states regarding concerns of foreign interference in the election.

This administration wants the states to take the lead, just like they wanted for our response to the coronavirus pandemic. They expect the results to be similarly disastrous.

100 days to go … needs to also be 100 sleepless nights for Trump… and not just basic insomnia … it needs to be brutal sleep deprivation … sheer terror… afraid to close his eyes because he has visions of firing squads (and that is just what Putin has planned)…
Can’t get rest because he is fidgeting and sweating… aim for a monumental total breakdown into undeniable utter incoherence & then live on TV collapse into a seizure on the floor in the middle of one of his press-capades … some where about October 4/5 …
… and when revived … he can only speak in rhyme & in a bad cartoonish heavy southern accent.

Remember what Michael Cohen said:

ā€œHe doesn’t give you questions, he doesn’t give you orders,ā€ Cohen said. ā€œHe speaks in a code. And I understand the code, because I’ve been around him for a decadeā€¦ā€

Of course, Trump and Putin wouldn’t speak about election tampering openly. They have a code.

When you have to say a complete lie when everyone knows you’re lying, you’re losing.
If you immediately get defensive and shift blame to the previous administration…you’re so losing.

I bet Meadows has never been so freaked out and stressed out in his whole life as he is right now, even if he is on board with most of this agenda from hell. He’s trapped in the trump loop and there’s no good way out. He deserves that.

And they all deserve to lose and lose big.

I know. With all the thievery they’ve committed you’d think they would know how to wear a mask.

Like in the Sopranos … they have their own ā€œvagueā€ terminology for all of their activities.

Somehow I think his code talk is rather less Godfather and more Three Stooges.

Yes, look at his eyes…those are the eyes of a man who is afraid of something. That Freedumb Caucus prowess is gone, he looks tired, worn out, spooked.

Exactly. Trump might very well have asked Putin to do all that he could to help. Meadows is trying to legitimize attempts by foreigners to ā€˜influence’ the elections. Trump probably went ā€œPlease, Vlad give me all the false social media advertising you can! Nobody is going to catch you! I gave you a pass on Crimea and got out of Syria like you wanted, didn’t I? By the way, thanks for the advice about Portland.ā€

They don’t seem to grasp that they have very little credibility left with America (and the world for that matter). Oh, those who believe their fairy tales, probably still will. That number is dwindling which means no matter the new garbage they spew out, no amount of posturing and PR will fix the draining of support.
