Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is reportedly no longer listed in North Carolina’s voter rolls amid an investigation by state authorities into allegations of election fraud in the 2020 election.
It seems that he voted in NC in 2020 and VA in 2021, so he is not guilty of voting twice in the same election. Taking him off the voter roll is probably as far as state action will go. But I hope he is still on the hook for the attempted coup.
He committed registration fraud by registering a address that he did not live at, he committed voter fraud by using that address to vote in NC when he had no address in NC. He is guilty of multiple crimes, the question is whether the rule of law is enforced or not.
The voter registration of Meadows’ wife Debra at the Scaly Mountain residence remains active, despite neither she nor her husband ever owning the property, the Citizen Times reported.
I find this sentence problematic. And I realize it refers to the Citizen Times reporting, but one does not have to own property to register vote and vote. One must follow the residency rules whether you rent or own.
And this might be the main motivation. So now I want to know what qualifications one needs to meet to run for office in NC?
And wouldn’t this be a whole lot easier to keep track of if each state had the same residency requirements to vote and run for office?
He should be more than “nixed from the voter roll.” He should have his freedom nixed. A nice staycation in a North Carolina jail would do him a world of good.
There are reports that Virginia is massing militia on the border of N Carolina, and that an invasion is imminent. Once they’ve murdered a couple thousand citizens and blown up some towns Meadows will technically be a resident of both states by virtue of the territories in dispute and he’ll be fine.
Also, Florida is massing fascists on the Georgia border, demanding that Empty Greene be installed as dictator and that all transgender youth be handed over.
