Meadows Calls His Own Book ‘Fake News’ After Trump Attack | Talking Points Memo

I sense a candidate for this year’s Golden Duke Awards.

She’ll also be concerned when women die from self induced or back alley abortions.

If Republicans had two brain cells (collectively) to rub together – I know, I know…I shouldn’t speak in hypotheticals – they would realize that Meadows is almost certainly telling the truth about the positive COVID test. Given his established credentials as a T****p bootlicker, and interest in staying in his ex-boss’ good graces in the current GQP, what possible reason would he have for making this story up?

My other question is this: Meadows, and others, say that T****p received “A” negative test after the positive one…how many tests were administered until he received the one (almost assuredly false) negative result?

As always, Susan Collins can go fuck herself.

Meadows is such an amazing coward, I really don’t know what to say.

Maybe but for now Manchin and Sinema are “dukeing” it out for the top spot.

OMG, how does Mark Meadows even stand up without a backbone?

Inflated by Trump farts and other hot air. They all fear a phantom. But, they’re Repubs, so duh.

So many categories, so many candidates!

He’s concerned sales won’t cover his failed coup attempt-related legal costs. So he’s sucking up to fat donnie again in the pathetic hope that his hero will rescue him.

He’s not saying that it’s not true, he’s saying it’s fake news. There’s a difference.

I find it peculiar that Meadows DID NOT object to the validity of the book excerpts UNTIL ***** called it fake news.

Did it take 12hrs+ (or months) for Meadows to determine the media (and specifically) his publishers were lying? Interesting…

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who provided the pivotal vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh despite the sexual assault allegations against him and his pro-life beliefs, is still pro-choice and wants to codify Roe into law

Gee, Senator. If only you were in some sort of position to maybe, possibly author legislation to that effect. Then maybe champion said legislation, and find like minded individuals who might vote in support of it? But no, it’s another day of furrowed eyebrows and expressions of “concern” from Suzie-Q.

Wonder how Meadows’s publisher feels about him telling the world the book they bought was a lie.

Maybe they can still try to sell it in the fantasy fiction section?

It’s a miracle any of us survived.

Rather neatly sums up his and his administration’s entire (lack of) response to the pandemic. Doesn’t it?

He’s walking a very thin line. To satisfy T****, he says “fake news” because after all he did point out there was a second test that was negative. He thinks that by including that false negative, he’s off the hook.

His claim that MSM is ignoring the negative test, however, is flat out wrong. But he figures TFG isn’t smart enough to grasp that.

FIFY

When Trump says that, isn’t that what they called in ‘All the President’s Men’ a non-denial denial? Trump never says ‘it’s a god-damned lie it never happened and I demand a retraction.’

If the media is ignoring the “negative test”, how did we find out about it?
