Chip in what you can to the McGrath war chest. She’ll need it. If the main goal is to take out Moscow Mitch, then let’s not let intra party differences get in the way.

Rhetorical question, of course.

McConnell wins by 10-13 points, and it was going to be that no matter who they ran.

I think he will. The Lincoln Project will tie the Dotard to the turtle, and sink them both in the eyes of voters.

Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear says ā€œhiā€, so does his dad former Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear.

Especially if he also happen to be the Commander-in-Chief of a 1,359,450 strong military.

Maybe he doesn’t know what ā€œloneā€ means.

WTH? He’s probably just holed up in the gilded john again.

She had a huge advantage with early vote by mail ballots.

And $40 million to $1 million huge war chest advantage against a 1st term state rep who got into the campaign late. Let’s see what happens.

Lieutenant Colonel McGrath

  • flew over 2,000 flight hours on over 85 combat missions.
  • the first female to fly in an F/A-18 in combat for the U.S. Marine Corps
  • F/A-18 Hornet , supersonic combat jet

…

Private Addison Mitchell McConnell Jr.

  • enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve as a private - March 1967,
  • After five weeks at Fort Knox- honorably discharged -deemed medically unfit for military service
  • A.K.A. ā€œMoscow Mitchā€

If anything, Trump could drag Mitch UP. Trump still beats Biden in KY by 16 points.

Very.

Ok fine. Let Mitch come back to the senate as minority leader. If we can’t get rid of him that still doesn’t mean we can’t take the senate and that pulls his teeth.

I’m a firm believer in the 50 state, contest every district strategy. Up and down the ballot, no matter what. Give people a choice, they deserve that. There are pockets of blue in all parts of the country. And let Republicans know they’re in for a fight everywhere.

I’m not saying we fund every district the same. Sure, funds are not unlimited and we have to pick our battles. But I think people respect a Party that has such strongly held views, they fight everywhere. So I’m not giving up on McGrath, though the odds are against her. Knowing that to be the case, I actually appreciate she and Booker still chose to run.

Or ā€œwarriorā€ā€¦

It is quite unhinged actually. Looking for the triangulation in the 3-D chess factor to bring understanding and enlightenment. Nope, just loony tunes, icing sliding off the cake as things heat up. Well, the Republicans must be mighty proud he is their man right about now.

McConnell has never been popular here, but his election strategy is always the same. He has a massive war chest that he uses to define the Democrat early and often. He utterly hammers his opponent to the point that (IIRC) only one person who has run against him in a general election has had a political career afterwards. He utterly destroys his opponents.

That’s why I’m pretty happy with the results today. I will not give two shits if McGrath is mortally wounded politically, but I think Booker has a bright future especially if he runs against Paul in 2022 or if he goes after Yarmuth’s seat when he retires. Hell, he could run for mayor in 2022 too. He’s got much more favorable options than becoming yet another promising political career cut short by the Grim Reaper.
