Tell it to the red states, Kayleigh. Y’all are killing your own now.

So has the fat motherfucker dropped dead? Resigned? He’s so damn stupid.

Next, they’ll be starting to talk up the advantages of being dead. It’s just a marketing problem.

“Capitalism made this continent flourish”
Say what?
Free land stolen from the Natives and slavery made this continent “flourish”.
That and a wealth of natural resources.
The only thing of note that capitalism did was destroy the environment.
Capitalism is a failed ideology. It is what has corrupted our response to both Covid-19 and AGW.

“Yes, he has shown us that plan with therapeutics and his plan is working,” MacroNinny said.

ICYMI his “plan with therapeutics” is embedded in his big, beautiful plan to replace the ACA.

Tobacco made this continent flourish. It was worth more than gold.

Not in the beginning. It was tobacco. It was worth so much.

And her statements barely makes sense; I guess she’s now taking dictation straight from the Orange One.

True, but rice (and indigo) were only about 60 to 80 years behind tobacco (1640s) in being major cash crops for the original colonies.

I know a guy that got rich off of tobacco. If you had vending machines and wanted cigarettes in them, you bought them from him. Or else. Used to run his routes. Damned quarters would have the rear springs on the Caddy scraping the ground.

Yeah well I was talking about the 17th century.

It went to other crops quickly but tobacco was THE most valuable commodity on the planet when the first plantations were carved out of the wilderness on behalf of mostly absent aristocrats who owned the actual land.

Even FOX is arguing with her, because she’s pretty close to literally arguing that up is down, and they’re not as close to putting up with it. But the more general problem is there’s nobody to speak for TrumpWorld® who is not, in fact, an outrageous liar. There’s no valid case to be made for any Trump policy.

I don’t watch TV really so I can’t say much about how people are responding to this but I do see shows—Deadline White House comes to mind—where they just don’t bother jousting with Kayleigh and John Hogan “Hogan” Gidley and the rest of the motley crew. They bring on people with a variety of viewpoints they think could be enlightening. Seems to work OK.
