McConnell Won’t Call Out GOP Govs Whose School Mask Mandate Bans Are Backfiring | Talking Points Memo

Frankly, I don’t care what McConnell thinks. IMO it would be best if he were permanently silent.

Not only is Mitch McConnell a turtle, he’s a weasel.

It’s because Kentucky has a Democrat Governor doing the right things, with strong approval ratings. Makes the GQPGOV’s look nasty by comparison.

McConnell Won’t Call Out GOP Govs Whose School Mask Mandate Bans Are Backfiring

The fucker wouldn’t call out a President* who was actively trying to subvert our basic constitutional order; why would anyone think he gave a wet runny shit about a bunch of public school kids?

All of these so-called GQP “leaders” are wannabe dictators. None of them give a shit about the people.

Well, I’m reluctant to give governors advice in a way that would reinforce the suggestion of the reality-based community that they’re killing people in general and children in particular because that might cost us one goddamn vote, maybe more, and so I’m reluctant. But vaccines, sure, go nuts. Because I don’t like to see mass suicide among our voters either. It’s a tough balance to strike, Chris, not everyone appreciates that.

Uno: my online shrink has repeatedly told me that it’s impossible, but googling ‘can a human erase one’s own memory cache?’

I often wonder how much longer this evil bastard will afflict our planet.

Death comes for everyone. So when will it finally be his turn? Pre-2022 would be ideal.

I’m thinking sometime around 2036 give or take. There’s a lot of Strom Thurmond in this pusilanimous human pustule of prevarication.

I firmly believe that when he finally shuffles off the mortal coil, the Kentucky GOP will soon die out. I also think that when he finally does grace us with his departure the GOP will have an even tougher time holding onto or getting back the Senate.

Her Noodiliness would really rather I didn’t ill-wish people.

But I gotta tell ya’, my resolve has been sorely tested over these last few years.

Well Mitch, then you support the pandemic.
Simple. Sad but simple as that.

And Mitt Romney went and sat in a pile of poo…
Washington (CNN) – Republican Sen. Mitt Romney said Sunday that if American citizens and Afghan allies are left in Afghanistan following the planned withdrawal of US troops there this week that would represent “a moral stain” on the US.
… …
Mitt, just how would you go about getting these people out any better than Biden is doing it? Bagram airfield is closed down and folk could not get there anyway as it is a piece north of Kabul. The Kabul airport is smack in the middle of town with a military side and a civilian side. We have moved somewhere around 100,000 people out so far. it’s not like we are leaving everyone behind. These folks need documentation and some don’t. Some few do not want to leave. So Mitt are you gonna force them to leave? Can you foretell the future Mitt?
Do you really want to judge another? Your faith says not to do that Mitt.

Responsibilities?

McConnell has a strange way of saying dereliction.

Maybe off topic…but who was that “unnamed GOP senator”?

Why in the world should Senator Mitch McConnell “call out” some Republican governors? He’s not the boss of them!

Who is? That elderly retiree (and LOSER!!) living at a golf club in Florida. Those governors follow HIS whims. They – and he – need to succeed or fail on that basis. And Moscow Mitch doesn’t want to get involved. Despicable, but then, that’s the Party brand these days.
