96,000? … hell no - Trump will direct the elimination of anyone who - on an actuarial basis, could have died within a 5 year window of their date of demise … eliminate anyone with a co-morbidity … and eliminate numbers from NY, NJ, CA (cause they were trying to make him look bad) and then just whip out his sharpie and scribble 39,000 on a chart and proclaim himself the victor over “FAKE STATISTICS”

McConnell is supposed to be a master strategist. He’s not.
His tentative, probably temporary, support of Fauci isn’t buttressing the Republican’s core. Rather, the dramatically opposing messages of Republicans is reinforcing the perception of confusion and corruption in the Party.

I think he answered that. McConnell is positioning himself, slowly but surely, away from Trump. On masks and now on Fauci. It tells me even more than the polls that Trump is losing badly, and McConnell is now focused on salvaging the Senate and his majority leadership position. He’s done with Trump.
