Mitch still has his finger in the wind. Mixed signals from that quarter currently.

In light of his own dismal record, McConnell’s dig at Democrats for wasting time on anything is bullshit of course but his comment is a signal of sorts: He may not throw Trump under the bus but he will stand aside and let it roll on.

You know, Moscow Mitch, I’d love to take you at your word, but two words: Merrick Garland.

The Senate rules are also clear about hearings and a confirmation vote on Supreme Court nominees.

Translation: “I’m confident we’ll be acquitting him and I have several plans already laid out for how to turn the whole thing into a circus attempt at generating backlash towards the Dems.”

Everything we know about Moscow McConnell demands that we think and act like we are operating under that assumption.

“McConnell then attempted to hit Democrats for taking up the impeachment inquiry ahead of an election year, saying if he were in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) shoes he “wouldn’t want to into next year’s election having it credibly said that all you did for the whole Congress was harass the President and try to remove him from office.””

So, this paragraph seems to be missing some words, Nicole. Also, given the complexity, how about we chop this 59-word sentence into more digestible portions?
How about four sentences? But first, find the missing words.
