Also, what both sides? So far it’s been GOP (Trump) telling people he doesn’t like (and thus vilifies because that’s his privilege according to you) to leave the country, and the decent people being aghast at the sheer menacing vulgarity of it. Being a legal immigrant did not protect Ilhan from Trump’s racism and McConnell is kidding himself if he thinks it would protect Elaine.
Trump was not triggered by the nationality of the four young women his racism was triggered by the color of their skin.
McConnell thinks we should believe him and not the evidence if our own eyes. What is he trying to pull? Are we supposed to believe that Trump’s not a racist – he just plays one on TV?
