Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) compared himself to former President Barack Obama on Tuesday when asked about new revelations of his ancestors’ history of owning slaves.
Before all the haters have their say, I’m sure some of McConnell’s closest friends are black.
But you and Obama differ in that only one of you would still have slaves if he could.
I’m sure he smirked a good smirk after that delicious bon mot!
I can’t say what I want to say lest I get a visit from some officious people… But it involves LSD and very hungry pit bulls.
ETA- I don’t want to prejudice pit bulls. It could be very hungry and ill-tempered Corgis, I don’t care.

I thought Obama was a Kenyan socialist.

The only similarity I can think of between McConnell and Obama is that both are/were trapped by Mitch’s evil shadow.

Quite apart from the equivalence McConnell is drawing here, his argument is fallacious: the fact that two things may be true of two people doesn’t address the merits of the issue at hand.
So, it’s dumb in addition to being offensive.
And thus McConnell is the perfect servant (slave?) to Trump.
