Over the weekend, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) re-election campaign proudly published a photo of mock tombstones printed with the names of his potential Democratic challenger Amy McGrath and the former Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland.
No incitement to violence there, especially not a gravestone with your opponent’s name on it.
And then they’ll be shocked, shocked!, when one of their followers takes it as a hint.

In light of the mass shooting, those tombstones are beyond tone deafness! It is disrespectful to the people who died from gun violence. Moreover, it is a grotesque and gruesome act considering MoscowMitch aka MassacreMitch has been blocking gun legislation in the senate!

Adding Merrick Garland’s name on a tombstone isn’t too smart since he is still serving as the Chief United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. This stunt tells me it’s personal, and not the “Biden Rule” as he has proclaimed. (yes I knew he was a liar the minute he opened his mouth, but to not even give Garland a hearing is shitty Mitchie)

No problem here. We already have it from the highest authorities in the GOP that “no politician is to blame” for the predictable consequences of their speech.
