I didn’t know cancer could get cancer. That’s a new one on me.
Doctor to patient: “We’ve discovered an alarming malignant growth on your tumor.”
Greene hit back at the Senate GOP leader, tweeting that “the real cancer” for the GOP “is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully.”
McConnell’s tool bag contains a few implements designed to inflict pain and leave a mark in situations such as this.
“How much time does it have, Doc?
So what does cancer do to you if you’re already dead?
Yet he has set the stage to once again acquit a serial criminal who embraced Qanon among other loony conspiracy theories, fomented a literal rebellion and continues to claim he won an election he lost by 7mm votes. Don’t be fooled. Republicanism 101 states: while you may from time to time have to speak as if you have integrity, in crunch time you must remember who you are and act only as instructed by Grover Norquist, the Trump family and Fox News.
In other loony conspiracy embracing news…Franklin Graham is a total fuck…I hope the IRS is secretly investigating where he get money and where it goes. If only he as a sex pervert like Falwell. Granted maybe he is and just hasn’t gotten caught, but goddamn his lips have been surgically attached to Trumps ass. Is he really this stupid? Someone must have dirt on him. I have a hard time believing Trump lovers contribute even 10% to Samaritan’s purse. He is just a total sack of shit to me.
This is a hard one. It is very good that he is making these statements. However, at the same time, as many commenters have pointed out, few people bear more responsibility for what has happened than he does. Mr. McConnell has experienced some recent health issues. I wonder…
I live for that moment when Trump says: “Alright, we’ll call it a draw”.
Only because he has no choice! Otherwise he is fine with her.
Because riding that tiger expanded the party.
Romney received 59,134,475 votes in 2012 while Trump received 62,979,879 votes in 2016.
Trump further expanded the voting base to about 74 million in 2020. Mitch isn’t going to say much more than he has for fear of losing those Trump voters. Sure, he doesn’t want them to be the public face of the Republican party, but he wants their votes.
Entirely appropriate for Mitch to stick he’s head up on Groundhog’s Day, just to see which way the wind’s blowing. And, you know, change the subject from Trump’s insurrection, and the GOP’s complicity in that.
I’ve been wondering the same sort of thing, I think. With his recent discovery of a sort of humanity, I’ve started wondering if maybe ole mitchy boy knows an end of some kind is near, and is trying to square his self with what history is going to say about him?
The key to being an effective Trumpist is an utter lack of self-reflection.
Anyone else notice that Gosar, Biggs, Mo Brooks, and Boebert have gone very, very quiet? They’re as much seditionists as Greene, and maybe worse, because they’re likely criminally implicated in the coup. They’re letting Greene take the heat, but they won’t be forgotten.
How far along are the talks between Trump and Russia as far as agreeing to a price on the intel briefings he’s still receiving? He’s going to need that money to offer Letitia James $100 million as an umbrella settlement for all the criminal charges he agrees to plead no contest to.
Heh. You may have to finally decide that’s what his walking onto the helicopter pretty much amounted to.
He could do a lot of good if his ‘conversion’ is real.
This is one of those situations where, when Kevin McCarthy has his meeting with Greene, he ought to bring along a psychiatrist. At least, have one sitting behind a two-way mirror.
An entrepreneur who likes to buy nice things for his wife. I don’t know why you have to put such a negative spin on everything.
