The import of this statement is not that McConnell takes a dim view of impeaching Biden.
McConnell is stating that he considers tit-for-tat impeachments to be the norm now.

Who cares what this complete hypocrite say today? His entire MO is lawyer lies. Then, when he switches his position, he just tells more lawyer lies then laughs his ass off at how gullible everyone is.
As soon as there’s a speck of political advantage or necessity to impeaching Biden, he’ll jump and board and declare with a straight face that whatever Trump did while president was just a little mischief versus whatever the Rs in the House come up with against Biden.
