House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Thursday promised to restore Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) committee assignments if Republicans take back the majority in next year’s midterm elections.
“This isn’t about threats, but it’s about holding people accountable,” McCarthy added.
Actually Qev, it’s about both.

“They’ll have committees,” McCarthy said during a press conference, during which he was asked whether Gosar and Greene could get their seats back if the GOP retakes the majority. “They may have other committee assignments. They may have better committee assignments.”
OK. Democratic operatives, grab this quote and start flooding the suburbs with ads showing these two nutters antics. Suburban women have been scared back to the GOP wit the CRT BS, scare them back with the craziness of the GOP politicians, Trump might be gone but the evil of the GOP remains.

It may play well with the stupids but a history of acquiescence to every rule violation members of your party commit from TFG on down means ‘accountability’ equals a threat against your political opponents and only that, nothing more.

To be fair, they’d probably be a good fit for the new Election Rigging Committee or the House UnRepublican Activities Committee.
