Seems to me Republicans are playing this safe. They’re not saying QAnon followers or their conspiracies are kooky, they’re saying 9/11 truthers and people talking about Jewish controlled space lasers are kooky. They are not going to disavow QAnon yet. But they really should.
Before they yank the Q blanket away from their base, they are going to need to replace it with something else.

I realize death threats generally have to be very specific and worded in a way a judge would deem them an imminent threat. I also realize the Speech & Debate clause lets legislators get away with saying a lot of stuff others would be called to account for. But since when can someone threaten the life of a sitting member of Congress and not be paid a visit by the Secret Service and be issued a very stern warning to knock it off? Why the hell is it McCarthy that has to talk to Greene, instead of law enforcement?
