House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Tuesday faces losing the job he endured 15 votes to secure back in January, as a faction of his own party tries to force his ouster.
If the rebels can assemble 4 votes this might go one for the rest of the day. At some point somebody will give. My guess is McCarthy survives.
I say we give McCarthy and Gaetz each Super-Soakers filled with Trump’s cold urine, and have them fight it out.
But it would backfire, as they’d enjoy themselves too much, methinks…

Deals with the devil never seem to work out well in the end, do they. Whatever you think you’re trading, whatever careful balance you’re drawing, they end up taking it all.

Question, If McCarthy loses the Speakership, can he be subsequently re-elected, or is he no longer able to be considered?
What help are the usual tools of analysis when the density of stupid reaches this level?
