House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Thursday denied that he, in fact, voted to overturn the election results as he failed to take responsibility for egging on former President Trump’s incitement of the mob behind the deadly insurrection of the Capitol earlier this month.

Any GOPPER on the defensive is a good thing. I got a chuckle some days ago when Lawrence was talking with Adam Schiff about some statement that McCarthy said that sounded a tad cooperative.
Schiff (who, himself, chuckled a bit when he replied) opined that McCarthy does things for McCarthy and that purpose

This is what ultimately happens when you wave the Reality-Based Community bye-bye.
