McCarthy Denies Trump Was Partisan | Talking Points Memo

Kevin McCarthy is the dimmest of dim bulbs. If Trump’s comments weren’t partisan, what were they, dumb shit?

Citing how the President called Pelosi “incompetent” and Schumer “crying Chuck Schumer” during Wednesday night’s presser, the reporter asked whether Trump himself was being partisan in the midst of a health scare.

This was not even the most egregious example. When asked if he thought the markets’ tanking was due to fears surrounding coronavirus, he said no, not at all. That, he said, was brought on by the recent Democrat [sic] debate and all the scary things that were said. He then proceeded with some rally-worthy political blar blar blar for a good two minutes.

Even if this administration were reversed, if I was in the hospital with this thing I would not want President Clinton to be dealing out the schoolyard nicknames while she was talking about a pandemic. But I doubt she would stoop that low.

I know how McCarthy feels, what are the sentient beings saying?

True. Just pointing out that the Latino community is not a monolith. There is a full range of social politics and opinions there.

It’s McCarthyism for a new century.

Why is anyone surprised that this incompetent, petulant administration’s response to questions about their wholly inadequate response to an active, growing Global Health Crisis consists solely of:
“I’m Rubber, You’re Glue, what bounces off me Sticks to You!”

Doubtful. Bakersfield’s on the right hand side of the state in a huge red swath. Unlike the left side of the state which is blue in the same amount.

Amazed that anyone can understand him with nose buried up Shitgibbon’s ass.

But it is changing. I used to live in Merced for a while (about two and a half hours north of Bakersfield by car) and as others have noted, the Latino population is growing, and UC-Merced has a fairly new UC campus that is in the process of doubling from 10k students to 20k students, with all that implies in both educating the local population and moving in a lot more folks from “outside” to staff the campus.

It’s not going to happen overnight, but I now live in Orange County, which used to be the bedrock Republican corner of California, and we cleaned out a lot of the Old Guard in the last election. Filling out my ballot this week, hope to keep the streak going down here, as well…

ETA: And California is considering building a new CSU campus, and the likely locations mostly tend to be off in that area, as well - Stockton (between Merced and Sacramento), Concord (closer to San Francisco/Oakland) and Palm Desert (inland and between LA and San Diego).

Given the push inland that’s going to happen when the coast floods in the coming decades, we could have that whole area cleaned up in another generation or so (If we’re not all wiped out by Donnie Dummkopf’s response to the Coronoa virus by then…)

In the News: California considers building new CSU campus.

It’s just like with guns. You can’t criticize conservatives for their gun fetish because there was just a mass shooting (because there has always just been a mass shooting) so damn you for being so partisan during this sensitive time you far left wing socialist globalist Marxist, stick to thoughts an prayers you commie, which is, of course, just fine to say because they got criticized first for refusing to do anything about people getting shot.

If people would just stop calling them out for all the bad and/or incompetent things they do - and for the worst possible reasons - then they wouldn’t have to make up lies about their critics! Sheesh.

It’s really tough to be GOPer. Manufacturing all of this fake outrage while covering for an insane, tinpot dictator must be a real drag.

I don’t believe so, because he was referring to a question on the basis of what those leaders had already said,” McCarthy said, before listing criticisms by Pelosi, Schumer and House Judiciary chair Jerrold Nadler (D-NY)

This is what happens when a hyper partisan spitball is asked if his master was being partisan.

You could ask Bloatus if he prefers a Quarter Pounder to a Double Cheedeburder and he wouldn’t be able to answer without heaping slime on a congressional Democrat.

“McCarthy added Thursday that the Trump administration is set to brief all members of Congress Friday…”

I wonder if it troubles McCarthy that Congress will only be allowed to hear what Pence has first cleared the briefers to provide them?
